
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
PC requirements
The minimum PC system requirements for ADSL at present are:
- Windows 95/98 or NT 4.0*
- Intel Pentium/Pentium Pro/Pentium MMX/Pentium II, AMD K5/K6, or Cyrix 586/686 processor
- 32MB RAM (64MB recommended)
- 25MB free hard drive space
- Resources to accommodate an Ethernet card if one is not already present (available slot, available IRQ, available I/O resources)
*Important note: Windows 2000 is not currently supported. We expect to support it by the end of March 2000.
Please note that if you do not already have an Ethernet card, you will need to purchase one from EZNET or any other retail provider of Ethernet cards. Email us if you would like EZNET to install your Ethernet card for you.
Macintosh requirements
The minimum Macintosh system requirements for ADSL at present are:
- PowerPC processor
- MacOS 7.5.5 through MacOS 8.6 AND Open Transport 1.1.1 through 2.0.2*
- 32MB RAM (64MB recommended)
- 25MB free hard drive space
- Ethernet. Note to Macintosh PowerPC users: An Ethernet card is already built into all iMac, G3 Power Mac, and G3 PowerBook computers.
*Important note: MacOS 9.0 is not currently supported. We expect to support it by the end of March 2000.
